Verizon Wireless is a pretty awesome company. On July 18th VzW sponsored a soccer clinic in partnership with the Wichita, KS YMCA. The soccer clinic was a huge success with more than 200 children participating and we got some amazing photos!
Besides getting hands on soccer instruction from professional soccer players, every child that participated got a free t-shirt, soccer ball, water bottle, and a backpack. The best part about this event was that there was no sales pitch! Sure there was VzW branding, but there was no information handouts or sales people talking about new technology. It was all about the soccer.
Kudos to VzW for offering a true community service event. The kids and families in Wichita thoroughly enjoyed the clinic and I know those kids will enjoy having their own soccer balls and jerseys too. What a great event. We are stoked that we had the opportunity to take pictures for such an awesome event!
