Landscape Photos Are A Hit

While taking photos for client weddings, senior portraits and other special events is something I enjoy doing.  I really have a lot of fun taking photos of landscapes and skyscapes all around the world (though, I haven’t left the US since last November and I doubt I will get to anytime soon, lol).

My Kansas City photos have garnered quite a bit of attention.  It’s these photos of the area I call home that I typically print and sell at gallery shows and it’s for these photos that I get the most non-client comments about.

While people are still my favorite subjects, the buildings and objects that diversify cities are always something that captivate me.  So much can be said for the unique architecture in a city.  The new steel and glass buildings that scrape the sky next to the brick and stone buildings that have been around for decades.

The image attached to this blog post was taken in the Power and Light District — one of my favorite parts of this image is the fact that this new sign sits right in front of an older building.

Landscape photos are amazing. I’m terrible at taking them, but I love to look at ones that good photographers take. I really enjoy your Kansas City site. Thanks for sharing!
